About Firefox Studio Arts
Firefox Studio Arts began not with wire and stone, but with paint and a dream. Born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado — where the Rocky Mountains spill down into the plains — I started this brand as a small painting Patreon, a quiet creative space to share my art with the world.
Years passed. Life moved. I found myself in Michigan, and Firefox Studio Arts evolved with me. It was here, nearly five years after that first spark, that I picked up wire for the first time with intention — and everything shifted.
I was walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life — a divorce that left me searching for solid ground — and I found my way to the stones. Each one carries the evidence of everything it has endured: pressure, heat, time, fracture. And yet here it is — undeniably beautiful. I stopped trying to hide those marks. No fancy distractions, no filler beads. Just the stone, exactly as it is, in all its hard-won glory. Wrapping each one felt like telling a story I understood personally — that what you survive doesn't diminish you. It defines you.
That became the heartbeat of everything I make.
The bracelets' inspiration came from a frustration I know isn't mine alone — I have tiny, square wrists, and finding a bracelet that actually fits and stays has always been a battle. So I designed one that bends to you. Every bracelet ships unbent, so you can shape it to your exact wrist, and a secure lock chain closes the gap so it stays put. No more slipping, no more warping. Just a piece that fits like it was made for you — because it was.
The Alvord Collection is named in honor of my family, who stood beside me when standing was hard. I owe them more than I can say.
Firefox Studio Arts is for anyone who has ever felt like a rough stone: a little worn, a little weathered, and still entirely worth something.
